Carpentry Job Duties and Responsibilities Include

Carpenters have many tasks throughout the course of any building project, such as:

• Interpreting client requests and providing mock-ups for client approval prior to commencing work
• Building commissioned work projects based on demand
• Framing room additions as needed
• Selecting and evaluating materials for defects
• Installing pre-fab cladding materials to bespoke specifications

Requirements Skills of Carpenters Canberra

To be a successful applicant you must be:

• Experienced in carpentry (rough and finish carpentry accepted)
• Capable of working at heights and/or on elevated platforms
• Capable of carrying at least 35 kg
• Knowledgeable about alternative and unconventional building materials

You must also have the following qualifications:

• Reliable transport
• White Card
• ACT Asbestos Awareness Certificate
